Eurasian Oystercatcher

While walking through the Tullarns ang city park in Mariehalm, we saw this pair of Eurasian Oystercatchers feeding in a field. They were being closely followed by several Common Gulls that would aggressively try to steal anything edible the Oystercatchers found. It was interesting to me that one of the Oystercatchers had the distractive red eyes and the other dark eyes.
