Unexpected Close Encounter

I managed to snag 20 new birds to add to my life list while on vacation on the west coast, but one of the birding highlights of the trip was a close encounter with a pair of Ospreys that had built a nest on a lamp post at a go-kart track we stopped at on the the way to Portland. Just goes to show, you just never know where you’ll find opportunities to photograph birds!
