Coming back to California, this bird, a Bushtit, is common in many places. They travel in groups and eat tiny seeds and insects. Always moving and often deep in the bush and undergrowth, they are difficult to photograph. Not colorful, but so animated that, when I can get a shot, often it is an entertaining one. This, IMO, is one of those. Shot with a Canon R5 ii, 600 mm f/4.0 + 1.4 xt, hand held just above the ground using a remote cable release for the shutter.
