This bird is always seen in pairs nesting season is april to june eggs are symitrical white. The nest is a hollow hole in trees, inside the nest the female moults her feathers and incubates the eggs , the male supports . The clutch consists of five eggs, the nest is prepared by the female using mud pillets provided by the male.
