Such an unusual problem we had during our trip to Scotland. It was too warm and sunny! Certainly that affected our visits to Alan MacFadyen’s Scottish Photography Hides. One of the problems that created is that the Kingfishers did not come to the hide often or when they did, they did not perform very well. Apparently the water in the near by river was so warm the small fish had to come to the surface to get sufficient oxygen. That made them easy pickings for the Kingfishers. No need to come to the hide to get fed. This was one of the shots I did get. A Common Kingfisher.
