Anhingas in Migration

We traveled to Veracruz to observe the ‘River of Raptors’ fall migration and were not disappointed. One of the birds we saw migrating in great numbers were Anhingas.
One afternoon we laid on the ground near a baseball field in Chichicaxtle and watched thousands of birds stream past. Simply amazing!
