Ruby-throated Hummingbird

We saw Ruby-throated Hummingbirds often while in Veracruz. This one was visiting a hummingbird feeder along the El Crucero Road and spotted while I was watching for the Mexican Sheartail Hummingbird.

We all noted that it had a funky bump on the top its bill…a deformity or dirt?
