Cobalt-winged Parakeets

From time to time I enter photos in contests. Earlier this year The Field Museum in Chicago had a photo contest for Members and I entered 9 photos.

It was thrilling to learn last week that 3 of my photos had received Honorable Mentions and will be displayed at the Museum in the Members’ Lounge beginning in December.

The three photos included:
– A Guanaco in Argentina (sorry that its not a bird)
– A Reddish Egret from Mexico
– Cobalt-winged Parakeets from Ecuador (first posted to Great Birds Pics in 2024)
