Bar-tailed Godwit

With respect to marked godwit 3WBBW,………..banded on 16th Jan 2006 as a 3+ male. Bird was recorded in Alaska, near Tern Mountain in SW Alaska at 31st August 2006. That is likely pre staging record prior to migration. Has been seen on migration south and left annual records from Motueka Sandspit up to Nov 2018.
Interesting that this bird is 22 years old !
