Kind words. I was very fortunate; we were visiting a friend’s cabin in the NW corner of Arizona. The cabin is at an elevation of 6000′ and the weekend we were there was the first major snowfall of the year. During the day it snowed about 6-8″. I think the birds were surprised. I spent 3 hours bundled up sitting in the snow photographing many different species as they sought shelter and tried to keep warm.
