We were invited by friends to bird Cuba on a private tour started by a friend of theirs. We went through Caribbean Conservation Trust in 2013. We were there from April 14th through April 27th and saw many great birds, incredible architecture, and restored very old cars.
This Red-legged Thrush was on the grounds of a hotel El Mirador in Pinar del Río on April 17, 2013. This city was one of the last major cities in Cuba founded by the Spanish, on September 10, 1867.
