The paddy field pipit is a common Asian bird known for its habits in grass land and farms. It has a compact look with a large head and short tail. It is a resident status with unique wing splashing display, ground nest, it is common throughtout the year, very similar to Richards pipit and blyths pipit, known for its song flight display during breeding season, the incubation period is 14 days by female who also builds the nest, while the male takes guard during incubation.
