This bird is mainly seen in north east india and south east asia also in parts of malay, Andaman and nicabar islands. A beautifull parrot. The moustached parakeet is named for its distinctive feathers above the beak that looks like a well groomed moustache. Males have bright red upper bill and pink under parts and talk more while females have black bill and duller pink on chest. The clutch consists of3 to 4 eggs incubation period is 28 days.
