One adult bald eagle joined by two juveniles who are eyeing a sick/injured Canada goose that had just (crash)landed in what little water that remained in this frozen marshland. The goose is obviously distressed as it can be seen calling out with the appearance these predators. After observing the scene for about 15 minutes with the eagles patiently awaiting for an opportunity to get their meal, to my surprise the goose suddenly took to the air and no longer appeared injured in its flight pattern as I had witnessed in its arrival.
