A pair of long-tailed ducks coming in for a landing in the rapid tidal current of the Indian River Inlet at Delaware Seashore State Park. The ducks dive down while feeding and eventually drift several hundred yards away within the inlet because of the powerful tidal flow and then take flight to put them back into their previous starting point.

Cool shot of the Long-tailed Ducks. Interesting pattern for their feeding – gives you a chance to predict their flight-path.
Thanks Mike! Fun to watch these beautiful diving ducks in the wild.
Interest shot. Love those ducks.
