This is a common bird, a Blue-black Grassquit, that is seen widely throughout the Neotropics. I have taken many images of them over the years, but few of them end up being processed, let alone good images. These birds frequent road side ditches where they feed on grass seeds. Often not very photogenic settings. The bigger problem is that, without the right light direction, they look plain black. Not easy to pull out any detail. This shot was taken in Colombia, and is probably my best attempt at getting some color out of the bird. About 50% FF, little processing done in PS. I kept the BG bright to separate the bird.
