Watching birds interact is one of my joys during my photography outings. These two, a Curve-billed Thrasher and a Mourning Dove, are common desert birds. Even though the dove is larger, the Thrasher is far more aggressive and will not allow one of the doves to even perch near the food source. This Thrasher actually “stalked” the dove down this branch and finally rushed forward to drive it away. After the dove left, the Thrasher sat for a few seconds and then left itself. Just the satisfaction of bullying the dove I guess. Little processing done in PS. About 75% FF.
