Cassin’s Kingbird

We walked around the main pond at the Sweetwater Wetlands during a brief stay in Tucson. There were many ducks and a number of other birds including this Cassin’s Kingbird. We used the photos I took and range maps to confirm the identity – not a Western Kingbird, a Tropical Kingbird, or a Thick-billed Kingbird, although these species are all very similar.
