Vermilion Flycatcher

We walked around the main pond at the Sweetwater Wetlands during a brief stay in Tucson. There were many ducks and other birds including this Vermilion Flycatcher.

This bird was visible much of our time at the Wetlands, but always seemed to be on the other side of the pond. I took quite a few long-distance photos, always hoping the bird would land near me (which it never did). This is the only photo I thought was worth good enough to be considered a Great Bird Pic.
