One of my favorite birds I saw in Costa Rica was the Resplendent Quetzal. Our group was fortunate to see an out 5 or 6 of these beautiful birds, who were eating wild avocados from an avocado tree. I was extra lucky to have this male quetzal land on a branch very close to where I was standing.
