Beautiful Colors on a Bird (Water Contest)

In 2016, we took a birding trip to Costa Rica. Somewhere along the way we got great views of a Roseate Spoonbill. This photo shows the intricate makeup on the upper portion of the bill as well as the “spoonbill”. The colors on this species amazes me from the orangish eyes, to the differing shades of pinks and reds.
