Back with the everpresent prairie warbler in the pine dunes of Cape Henlopen State Park that was easily flushed out with countersinging from Merlin at the same location of my previous posts. This same male was even more aggressive today and charged at my lens (and me!) within a foot while standing on the park’s hawk watch at tree level! Am amazed at their territorial behavior in the breeding season.
