Finally able to get a decent shot of a clapper rail that briefly came out of the phragmites into the morning sunlight at the DuPont Nature Center/Lighthouse Rd. Not a very pretty bird but a distinctive look for a relatively elusive bird that sticks to the marsh grasses.
