This was a tough lighting situation but I could not help myself. I had to follow the bird, a Yellow-headed Caracara, as it flew and push the shutter. It was very bright below the bird (dead grass and brush) and behind (palms in the sun). This is about 50% FF, the BG has been darkened considerably via a linear gradient in ACR. The dead tree to the R of the frame has been darkened via a clone stamp; it appeared as a white “skeleton” in the BG. Taken near Puerto Jimenez in Costa Rica.
