Black-throated Blue Warbler
While I was initially delighted to have this little bird land so close to me, I believe close inspection of this image will reveal the downside of such a close encounter. Is it obvious? It was to me as soon as I got this image on my computer screen.

I think it amazing that the bird is looking left as if to say “get my good side”! Beautiful picture – wouldn’t have noticed the tail blur if it was not pointed out.
