Now that’s a GreatBirdPic! I’ve tried capturing them but they are too fast!
Mike, you need to get a kayak. You would be surprised how much closer you can get to birds. They don’t any pay attention to how close you are. Just don’t make eye contact with them until you are ready to take the picture. They don’t feel threatened until they know that you see them. Thanks for the great comments.
