Another new bird on the Aruba list this year, the Variegated Flycatcher.
After a few days chasing it, I finally found out where it was foraging…not only insects but apparently it preferred fruit of the “Bread with Cheese” tree as we locally name the Cat’s claw (Pithecellobium unguis-cati).
Knowing what and where a bird forages, helps tremendously in increasing your chances to observe it for a longer period of time and thus in getting better pictures.
