Cedar Waxwing
This is a bird that arguably looks good in any setting, and luckily they are around all year to pose for the camera. I took this at the end of spring migration when a huge flock descended on the trees by the river, displacing the many migrating warblers.

Some people call this the “gentleman” bird because it dresses up so well. I suppose you could call it the “lady” bird but that was already taken. Great pic.
Great shot. I want a pic of one of these waxwings very badly and have never seen one.
