Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
This young gnatcatcher flew into my yard in early August last year, and stayed for a couple days hanging around the crabapple tree. It could also be an adult female, but something about it said juvenile as it seemed a little lost. They usually flit around the branches rather quickly but this one was a little more methodical about hunting bugs, another clue to me that it might have been a youngster still learning the ropes.
