Ruby-throated Hummingbird
This juvenile male hummingbird showed up in my yard with his mom (I think) last August. I would spot the two of them at the feeder quite often and sometimes they would chase each other around the trees. Here he is perched on a branch practicing his fierce looks. You can’t see it in this photo, but occasionally I could see one little ruby red feather on his throat.
