Great Egret

Great Egret, elegant wing extension

Visited Whalon Lake on August 30, 2020 to search for two Night Herons: Black-crowned and Yellow crowned. Found both.
But in my opinion, this Great Egret stole the show with this pose. I was lucky to catch it! Slightly blurry but I’m thrilled with it.

I love the wing extension and the contrast of the white with the blue background. Nice shot!
