This bulky Flycatcher from the south brought in a lot of excitement in Illinois. The first reported for the state, has us birders scrambling to get a view of him. A Lifer for many of us.

That’s pretty cool. So what is the explanation for this bird being so far displaced from its natural habitat? Is his name Corrigan?

When the Kiskadee was up in the tree I was taking pictures of a leaf in the tree next to it! Glad you got this one.
