A juvenile (first winter) White-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys) perched on a lump of snow.
Wow! Such a tough combinations of light with the bright white snow and the darker bird and background. At first I though it was a PhotoShoped image of the bird sitting on some puffy clouds. Good job capturing the White-crowned Sparrow!
