We spent 8 days in the Galápagos Islands traveling to 10 islands looking for the specialty birds on each.

Our local guide knew there was an American Barn Owl roosting in a shed near a lava cave on Santa Cruze island. There was an open window and the owl appeared to be sleeping, but the inside of the shed was so dark that my camera could not capture a clear image. So I used my iPhone.
