While in Arizona, we drove to Madera Canyon, which is about 30 miles south of Tucson, and went to the Santa Rita Lodge. The owner of the lodge has maintained more than a dozen bird feeders for 20 years – to attract birdwatchers to his lodge. I was captivated by the too cute Bridled Titmice.

Mike – Thanks for the Birds in Black and White contest! I found the exercise of selecting and converting color photos both challenging and interesting. I was surprised with many of the results – and found this to be a great learning experience!
