Vermilion Flycatcher
We spent 8 days in the Galápagos Islands traveling to 10 Islands, looking for the special birds on each.
On Isabela Island, we drove up the Sierra Negra Volcano where we found the beautiful Brujo Flycatcher (Pyrocephalus nanus nanus). This bird used to be called the Little Vermillion Flycatcher and locally is called the Wizard Bird. However, none of these names are included in the GBP list of bird names, so I chose Vermillion Flycatcher from the list.
