Birds in Black and White – Dark-eyed Junco

xenops17

This Dark-eyed Junco is perched near a feeder waiting for his turn at the seeds. This image of a nearly Black and White bird shows us the beauty we see in a monochrome setting, with the background blurred and the simple pattern of the bird’s dark back and light underside.

Happy Day after Halloween. Beware the Antpitta!
