Although we heard them often and caught glimpses of them in the thickets, I had a hard time getting a picture of Pearly-eyed Thrasher. I finally got this one after a long hike around Coral Bay on St. John’s.

I don’t know if it’s just the lighting, but the feather tips seem to have a greenish tint that matches the eye.
