I looked at the previous picture I felt like the seed in its mouth was lost. It’s a busy picture with lots going on so your eyes are drawn in many different directions. I decided to recrop the shot so that the seed in the bird’s mouth was more visible, but as a result I had to crop off most of the tail to do so! Was it worth it?

Was that the photo before editing?
The previous photo (I know it’s hard to navigate around the site now) has the whole bird in it. This crop was to focus more on the mouth with the seed in it.
There is a lot of space on the left. Couldn’t you have cropped some of that out and left the tail in the shot?
I’ll give it a try!
