Galapagos Hawk
We spent 8 days in the Galápagos Islands traveling to 10 islands, looking for the special birds on each.
We walked a long and very rocky trail on Isla Española to a Waved Albatross nesting area that was located along a rocky cliff over the splashing ocean waves. There must have been an updraft along the cliff face, as many birds were soaring in this area, including this Galapagos Hawk.
