Gray Warbler-Finch
We spent 8 days in the Galápagos Islands traveling to 10 islands, looking for the special birds on each.
On Genovesa Island I watched a mother Gray Warbler-finch feeding its insistent chick. The female left when the male arrived. The chick begged for the male to feed it, but the male only stared at it menacingly. The chick departed the perch, probably to look for the female and another free meal.
