We spent 8 days in the Galápagos Islands traveling to 10 islands, looking for the special birds on each.
There were two Great Blue Herons spotted during our 8 days in the Galapagos – this was the closer one. The guide said it was possible that the GBH in the Galapagos may be designated a separate species in the future.
