Green Kingfishers were spotted many times while we were in Brazil near the Amazon or the Rio Negro. But they were mostly far away, flying away, or obstructed. This one was pretty close to our canoe while we were looking for a Sungrebe in the Anabilhanas Archipelago along the Rio Negro.
