Heading Home With Mud

Cliff Swallows collect mud in and on their beaks to build a nest. The bird flying off and the one in the ditch facing the camera both have mud.

I love images like this where the birds are landing or just taking off. When they are landing you can see how they are putting on the brakes in their body position. With out freezing the moment with the camera the beauty of their movement is missed.
