Greater Sage-Grouse

Janus Sage Grouse Birds in B&W

This was taken on a Greater Sage Grouse lek in Jackson County CO This pair spent a lot of time next to each other and I was taking shots of the two of them interacting throughout the morning. I didn’t realize what was going on in this shot until I started editing it back home

Is each bird facing forward or looking over its shoulder. An interesting optical illusion
