Juvenile Hepatic Tanager – showing transitional plumage

Hepatic tanagers were the first birds to become frequent visitors at my balcony, and this was one of the first juveniles to come along with the adults. You can see the green plumage on his tail still from when he was younger.

I love the dramatic contrast, with the shadow on his chest. Nicely posed!
