While on the road somewhere in South Dakota, we stopped at a rest stop. Before getting out of the car, I noticed a bird on a fence and got my camera out before knowing what the bird was. I figured it was some type of sparrow. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this Loggerhead Shrike.
