I am trying to clear some of my photo files that I have saved over the last year. These files contain images, saved for the web, that are from trips that Deb and I have taken this last year. I am trying to clear the files to make room for the next few trips we have planned in the near future. This is a Spotted Wood-Quail from Costa Rica. This bird likes high altitude cloud forest. It surprises me that, in spite of a 100″ of rain per year in the forest, this bird predictably still comes to water sources like this small pool. This was shot near Gema Del Bosque Lodge in Talamanca Mountains of southern Costa Rica. Little done in processing. This is virtually FF.
