Yellow Warbler
We spent 8 days in the Galápagos Islands traveling to 10 islands, looking for the special birds on each.
The Mangrove Yellow Warblers seemed to be everywhere – we saw them every day! Although they were common, they were tough to photograph, since they were constantly moving or behind leaves.
Interestingly, the Mangrove Yellow Warbler does not migrate and sings year round to maintain their territories. It was split off from the Yellow Warbler in 2025. But here in GBPs, it is still included as a Yellow Warbler.
