No Space Between Wings and Frame

Here’s  a Black Kite taken in South Africa.  Notice that in the image the wings are practically vertical, and this is how I took the shot as it flew overhead.  Cropping it to maximize the size of the bird, the wings touch the edges of the frame at the top and bottom.  One should always leave some room between the edges and the bird so the composition “fits” nicely within the frame.  See the next image to find out how I improved this.
